Automatic Transcription in Premiere Pro
What is automatic transcription?
Transcription is the conversion of spoken speech into written text. With the development of automatic transcription technologies, the process has become faster and more accurate. In video editing, subtitle transcription is a vital step for creating accessible, professional content adapted to the audience. Advanced AI technologies now allow transcription with a very high level of accuracy.
Why is it good?
Automatic transcription saves hours of manual work and improves the accessibility of videos. It allows viewers to follow the content even in noisy environments or when watching without sound, is accessible to viewers with hearing impairments, and increases visibility in search engines like Google. Quality subtitle transcription also provides an excellent basis for translation into other languages.
How does it work behind the scenes?
AI systems for transcription are based on advanced speech recognition technologies that have been specially trained. The system splits the audio into segments, analyzes speech patterns, and generates automatic subtitles with impressive accuracy. Unique algorithms filter background noise, identify different accents, and handle slang, which allows good transcription even in challenging recording conditions.
